Joe K.F. Tai
Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer
Through years of experience in establishing business relations, Joe has built a strong, extensive, and multi-level network throughout North America and Asia. This business network is considered a crucial competitive advantage of CWN. In addition, Mr. Tai has a proven record in successfully running start-up ventures. In 1998, he founded NAI Interactive Ltd., which is currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of ChineseWorldNet.com Inc. Over the past 5 years, he has served as the managing partner of GoldPac Investment Ltd. Furthermore, Joe was the director and advisor for numerous publicly listed companies. Mr. Tai has used his resources to help raise over $100 M USD in the public markets for various projects and companies over the past 8 years.
Kelvin Szeto
Co-founder, Chief Operation Officer
Kelvin has accumulated over 15 years of operational experience from several IT businesses before working for this company. In addition, prior to joining CWN, Mr. Szeto was involved in the start-up of an international computer manufacturing company based in Vancouver. That company possesses large-scale manufacturing facilities in both Hong Kong and PRC, and its annual sales exceed $30 million CDN. With these extensive experiences, along with his valuable skills and business knowledge, Kelvin is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of CWN.
Gilbert Chan
Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing
Gilbert has 10 years of Sales & Marketing experience in the financial industry and currently heads the Sales & Marketing department of the whole group. He is also in charge of the development and daily operations of the IR/PR platform NAI500.com, the largest Chinese IR platform in North America. His fields of expertise include Resources and China-related industries. In addition, Gilbert has established a broad network of business relations within the financial and investment community in North America and Asia. This network is exceptionally useful in progressing and strengthening the developments of the company. Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree in Metals & Materials Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He is also an active contributor to the Investor Relations industry, and is currently a member of the NIRI (National Investor Relations Institute).
Business Development Team
The Business Development Team is the coordinator of the GCFF conference series as well as a key contributor to the strategic development of CWN business models. The Business Development Team is also responsible for the development of partnerships and cooperation with other organizations with regards to the various CWN business models.
China Business Development Team
The China Business Development Team is based in the Shanghai Office and represents CWN. As the key coordinator of networks in China the China Team represents CWN in the growing Chinese financial markets. The China Team coordinates with the corporate Vancouver Office to strengthen the connections between Greater China and North America. The China Team also coordinates the annual China Conference for the GCFF.
Marketing Team
The Marketing Team is mandated to build exposure for the CWN platform in order to develop business opportunities. Specifically, the Marketing Team develops marketing materials, networks and exposure opportunities for ChineseWorldNet.com Inc., as a whole, and for its business models. Alongside traditional marketing duties, the Marketing Team assists our partnered and client financial institutions to build exposure for their companies and products, particularly with regards to the cross border exposure between North America and Greater China.
Editorial Team
Based both in Vancouver and Shanghai, the Editorial Team provides the content development, in the form of commentary and first hand financial market information, necessary in connecting North American companies and Chinese-speaking investors. The Editorial Team also develops the content for the CWNFN.com financial information portal.
IT & Web Development Team
Based both in Vancouver and Shanghai, the IT & Web Development Team designs, coordinates and implements the many IT and Online related aspects of the company. They design the various websites for our business models as well as assist in the development of marketing materials such as online and offline advertisements and publications. The IT & Web Development Team also creates and maintains Chinese-language websites for our North American clients, allowing them to reach the Chinese online audience.
